I love this stamp set! I'm going to have so much fun creating cards for the April challenge for Operation Write Home! The inspiration for this card came from our current Idea Book.

Lollydoodle paper and Operation Write Home!

I absolutely love the Lollydoodle paper! I have created this adorable little card for my OWH gathering. I think the ladies are going to love it! I used Operation Write Home sketch #217 I hope you like it!

I just love these little stamps! I also love our soldiers who fight for our freedom! So I have gathered a group of women who want to say thank you to our soldiers and their families for their service! Here is one of the cards we will be working on!

I just love this paper! I am having so much fun making these Girls Rock cards. I think that the these are universal cards and the great thing is that the inside is blank so it can be whatever you need. Name change

Good morning! I wanted to tell all of you the exciting news! Scrappers Heart has changed it's name to    Owlet Creations! There is an exciting reason why I chose to do this but it's still under construction so I'm not ready to reveal that just yet.. But stay tuned!

Uniquely You Card

I am so very excited to share one of the three cards that will be in the July's workshop kit! 

The paper packet we will be using for this kit is the Claire Paper Packet.  The stamp to make this card is July's stamp of the month A Flowering Bunch. The ink colors I used were Hollyhock, Sunset, Blush, Garden Green and Outdoor Denim. I also used the Paradise Bakers Twine and Button's Blue Assortment. I hope you like it!

Good to be back!

It has been a while since I have been on here. I took a break because honestly I felt like this blog was not reaching people like I hoped it would. I wanted to inspire people to make hand made cards to give to their loved ones and to capture those memories and tell the story through scrapbooking. I am going to try again so please if you stop by and take the time to look or read, please leave a comment and let me know that you were here and share your thoughts, needs and your victories. Happy Thursday! These cards are made with Close To My Heart Scholastic paper packet. With this packet I tried to think out of the box in making these because I know that not everyone has children or their children are no longer in school. I hope that you enjoy and are inspired! Mojo Monday card

Good Monday my friends! Okay, so this is my Mojo Monday challenge card. If you are not familiar hop on over and check it out! So I made this with our Flirty paper. The color of inks I used were New England Ivy, Goldrush, Bamboo. I hope you enjoy and are inspired and will do the Mojo challenge also!

Summer Mini Album

So this is what we had for dinner last night and there are two boxes. 

 I cut the pages 6x6.

 Where the pictures are I found that I needed to sand it so that the glue would spread instead of pooling in one place.

 For the holes to bind it I measured in half and inch and up from the bottom and inch and down from the top an inch.

 I soon realized that my normal punch was not going to get the job done so I head to Hobby Lobby to see what I could come up with and my choice was a leather punch set and it works wonderfully and the price was right at $5.99.

 In this picture I am trying to show the detail of what I am calling my sand. I sanded the paper and sprayed with a mixture of re-inker and water.

 On the sun I stamped it twice in two different colors Creme Brulee and Goldrush and then ink distressed around the edges with sunset and on top with a sponge.

This is my finished, well almost finished, I just need to add the pictures and the embellishments on the pages.

The paper that I used is Footloose, Sweet Leaf, and Creme Brulee.

Vintage Crusin' card

This is just one of the cards that my workshops are going to be doing this month. My goal is to do more masculine cards for my workshops and well for myself too.

I really like this card I think it has a vintage feel to it and lets face it what guy doesn't like old cars.

To make this card I used the Cruisin' paper packet, Grey wool card stock, black card stock and the stamp from the workshop on the go.
